3Racing Sakura D4 AWD Build - Electronics Overview



Today on RC Overload, we discus what electronics i have decided to throw into my Sakura D4 AWD Drift Chassis.

To start off, I installed a Futaba S3004 Steering servo. This servo is one of the most basic servos you could put into a kit. It comes with plastic gears and only produces 57oz of tourqe as well as .19 seconds of turning speed. However because of how cheep this servo was and knowing that i still want to perform upgrades to this drift car later on in the future. I figured this would be a good start for now.


I also installed the Novak Drift Spec 13.5T Sensored Brushless motor into this build. I wanted to try out a different manufacture then what i was use to as well, as this will be my first sensored motor on any truck i own. This setup also has plenty of Tuning options in the ESC to calibrate anything from Braking to ESC Temperature testing.

I am also using my new Spektrum DX4S controller and a Spektrum SR210 Receiver to control this entire chassis setup. And the whole thing is going to be powered by a MaxAmps 6500MAH 2s 150c lipo.
